Unlike all the "Brand X" LED landing light products out there, which are just a collection of commercial TIR lenses placed over some industry standard single LEDs, the AveoMaxx™ is the world's first ultra-high power LED landing light module, incorporating the amazing Aveo MaxiChip™ power and performance.

Where is the difference?

The AveoMaxx™ technology is based on a solid state light source that combines the benefits of both LED and laser technologies. A special lattice structure results in optimal surface emission from a nearly one square centimeter massive LED source - the result is uniform and incredible brightness over the entire LED chip face, exceeding 2250 lumens per chip. This optical power and brightness for the first time allows an LED-based light to replace arc and halogen lamps in applications like landing lights, where arrays of traditional LEDs cannot.

With an industry-leading lumen maintenance level of over 70% after 60,000 hours, and 100,000 hour design operational life, these lights will far exceed the lifetime of the aircraft.

  • AveoMaxx-2 and AveoMaxx-4 MaxiChip™ configurations are the two basic configurations of the landing light module, incorporating the internal custom optic RockyReflector™
  • Taxi Light and WigWag function from the exclusive custom optics of a second proprietary RockyReflector™ module with 12 integral Hi-Power LEDs dedicated to these functions alone
  • Integral custom PowerOptimizer™ supply and AveoSmartController™ circuitry eliminates bulky external strobe or power boxes as pioneered only by Aveo in all of its products for more than 2 years
  • 2 Options of heat pipe and heat sink integral to the housing for maximum operating efficiency
  • For embedded wingtip installations, just add the AveoMaxx™ Premiere Nav/Strobe module (a derivative of the industry-leading Aveo E-series™ 3-in-1 light) to the pre-engineered mount and a PosiStrobeXP™ light to your tail and you have a complete and integrated light solution more advanced than most airliners
  • For wing leading edge installations, the AveoMaxxTM modules are pre-engineered for easy stack mounting next to each other
  • For inside-cowling or other location mounts, the AveoMaxxTM is an aerodynamically streamlined module that is versatile enough to be mounted in the optimum location for your particular aircraft.
  • In the cockpit, simply add Aveo RockRack™ led-backlit custom icon rocker switches for the ultimate control of your entire aircraft lighting system, with specific icon switches to control all functions
  • Featuring an adjustable tilt mounting system the AveoMaxxTM lights can be set to the optimal angles for your aircraft operating requirements with the simple turn of a screwdriver
